The December Lunch and Learn is on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Our address is 23855 Detroit Rd., Westlake, OH 44145. We will meet in the Spirit Room in the administrative wing of the building.
Managing stress with Tai Chi
Discover the ancient Chinese tradition of tai chi with our Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Tai chi can relieve stress by combining mind-body practices, including slow, flowing movements, focused breathing, and meditation to induce relaxation and reduce anxiety. With the hustle & bustle of the holidays, take time for self-care and learn several 5 minute tune-ups to calm and refresh during this busy time of year!
Mary Holtz will lead us through a series of mindful movements and stretches based in tai chi. Mary strives to live life to the fullest by staying active, being curious, and discerning when to slow down and center the mind. She combines these elements while working part-time as a fitness instructor, facilitating Bible studies, practicing yoga, gardening, and hiking new trails near and far. Her most recent joy comes from leading qigong and Tai Chi Easy practice groups throughout the Cleveland area.
