Survive and Thrive: Nature's Lessons from Native America
Discover the wisdom of Native American traditions in this engaging program by Tom Romito. Nature remedies, respect for the land, and spirituality were characteristics that Native Americans developed over thousands of years. That legacy is ours to discover and enjoy. In this short program, you will learn how nature provided in abundance everything American Indians needed to survive and thrive. As a youngster, the presenter wandered through the woods in his neighborhood and imagined how Native Americans did that. Today he will appear as an American pioneer who learns about Native American tribes as he travels through their Eastern Woodland villages in the 18th century.
This program is Tom Romito’s interpretation of artifacts and knowledge that he has accumulated in 25 years of practice and research and experience presenting this program to the public. Tom is retired from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Federal Service. He enjoys sharing his passion with others.
